Students will play a vocabulary review game. Students will research other examples of beliefs or traditions from various cultures that involve the number three, which is the story motif in the text. They will read two stories and complete a chart, which they will use to write a comparing-contrast essay. Students will work in pairs to retell the stories and use a rating sheet to grade each other. What is the plot in "The Monkey's Paw" and "The Third Wish"?
How are they the same and/or different?
Please give me some feedback on my unit by opening the Feedback form, naming it (example: Feedback_Spencer_cinderella), saving it to your desktop, filling it, and uploading it to my page.
