Unit Plan Title: The 3 Branches of the US Government Unit Summary: The US Constitution is a plan for our government. It can be divided into three main parts. Students need to understand the importance of separation of powers, checks & balances, & judicial review. Name the three branches of government and identify the basic powers established the US constitution.
